If God would do what I want him to do, the world would be a lot worse off.
Jonah had a mission. He didn't want to do it. God made sure he did anyway, even if it meant causing Jonah to suffer. And yet God used him to bring the people of Ninevah to Himself.
So that's the question I have to answer for my Theology of Evangelism class in my MDiv program right now.
So, I'll post my answer later on, but for now here's the pertinent definitions as best as I can find them...
